When working in social media, it's easy to stay on trend. It is less easy to stay on brand. You have to marry those two ideals to have a chance at long-lasting relevancy. You must also think of social media as a strategy, not as multiple tactics. That's where I come in. I enjoy cultivating something out of nothing; posting the latest Kermit meme right after an in-depth feature story and making them work together to support the overall experience. My one rule: always tell a story.
