For over three years, it was a privilege to work with the talented people of the University of Minnesota Athletics Department. In November of 2013, I stepped on campus eager to engage in every facet of Gopher Sports social media- I was able to do that and so much more. Take a look at some of the best of the best below.
Video production and strategy goes beyond simply highlights in the new digital age. The Gopher Digital Productions team is a world-class group of videographers, editors, and storytellers. They were able to help me bring to life some of the pieces I'm most proud to have a producing credit on. Below are a few of the examples I helped concept and produce as an extension of the team.
One of the first "big" projects I was able to work on with our video department was this sport-sound holiday video featuring Minnesota student-athletes.
As content is scarce in the summer, we utilized footage from great moments and never before seen pieces to compile a "Top 10" of Top 10s.
To bring more content to game weeks for Gopher Football, we utilized these short "ESPN" inspired videos for social promotion of tickets or awareness.
For some Halloween festivities, we followed a few Minnesota Football players through a haunted house. This long form video played on social, while the shortened version played on the big screen at our Halloween game.
